Oh man, no way. No way can anybody make a Peyton Manning analogy to Jared Goff.
For those of us who actually saw Peyton Manning's rookie season and not just his stat line: Everybody in the world walked away from that season knowing Manning was going to be a franchise QB. While, of course, he made rookie mistakes... Manning was making consistent big time throws and was commanding the offense at the end of the season.
If ANYBODY from this past draft class should get compared to Peyton Manning it would be Wentz. It's still not a good compare, but better than one involving Jared Goff.
Nobody is railing on Wentz for being a bust because he has shown time and time again that he can make plays at this level. There is -- literally -- zero evidence that Jared Goff can play at this level. He has piss poor accuracy. His poise boarders on cowardly. He isn't a leader. And he makes absolutely terrible decisions.
Not once. Not just a few times. All the time.
There is absolutely nothing a rational person can point to in Jared Goff's season that even remotely looks like the makings of a franchise QB. There is not a sane person in this world who can leave the 2016 season saying "Well, the Rams got their guy...".
Umm how many times am I gonna say this........he's a ROOKIE!!!!
