Can you imagine if we had given up what the Rams did last year to draft Alex? Can you imagine how much harder such a scenario would have made things for Alex?

Almost makes me feel bad for the kid. Almost...

EDIT: This is not a prediction that Goff follows the exact path Smith did, just that the 2 scenarios feel similar after year 1 in the NFL.

Agree, reminds me of Alex's first year.

hes not on the level of winston or mariota for sure

Not even close
Total BUST! Deer in the headlights. I saw one play against ATL where his tackle was between him and Vic Beasley in which Beasley with his back toward Goff reached with one hand on his jersey and pulled him down like a rag doll.

How they (idiot Fisher and FO) could have taken him over Wentz will go down as an all time blunder. mark my words

Then the Rams set themselves back a decade with that stupid trade.

A lot of people here wanted us to make that kind of commitment. Same group want us picking Trubisky with our 1st pick.

Lol. No doubt! Good for us.
He hasn't looked good, but you have to give a guy a couple of years before you can mark him a bust

Lol, he didn't suck for a rookie.

Goff still hasn't shown any signs of life after his rookie contract is done

Lol

Gabbert still in the league bruh

Goff will have a job after his contract expires

Yeah gab still a bust and not with the same team he was drafted by

So right now would you extend him?

I didn't say anything about extending someone that's still on their rookie contract....

Right so far he hasn't done anything for anyone to even remotely thinking of extending him past his rookie contract

Yeah I wouldn't call him a bust. I just don't think he is very good at anything at the moment. I think he will end up being a bust based off of everything LA gave up for him but that's down the road. Right now he is just a sorry ass rookie
