I've watched every Rams game this year and most of last year. Goff is good. How good? I don't know.
What I do know. The talent around Goff is ridiculous. Beyond ridiculous. Credit to Les Snead for finally putting a roster together.
Goff has ALL DAY to throw. Look at the film from last night. All those throws and 0 pressure. On some of them, there isn't a defensive player within 3-5 yards of him. That's nothing against Goff. He's getting a clean pocket on almost every drop back. You expect any quality quarterback to make those throws, and he does.
Last night's game was really eye opening for me because it showed how far away the 9ers are on offense. Jimmy doesn't have the weapons Goff does, nor does he have that kind of pass protection.
My best friend...a rams fan. Talks s**t about Jimmy G all the time. My reply is simple.
Lets trade Qbs. Goff can come here, play behind this line. Throw to a 32 year old Garcon, have an undrafted and undersized runningback, Goodwin, Taylor, and Kittle.
Let Jimmy G go to the Rams and play with an MVP RB, Cooper, Woods, and Cooks. Most importantly, let him sit in the pocket all day with 0 pressure.
You know what the end results of that would be. Just flip the numbers because every throw you saw last night, Jimmy G can make in his f**king sleep.
