This is Jared Goff at the very end of year 3. lol

You don't have to be Belichick level genius to throw this at him every game. Eliminate McVay, you eliminate the Rams.

This is a wakeup call for Goff. Even McVay can't hide you ability (or lack thereof) to read defenses.

This is triggering painful memories of this khaki-wearing HC that would tell his stallion of a QB what to do.

It's unfortunate that if we disguised the coverage, our seconadry gets confused.

Funny everyone is bashing Goff.

I thought the Rams OL was the worst thing on the field for either team. Open the flood gates, Goff was getting murdered.

Doesn't matter what QB it is, if you're able to lay the lumber on them, they will look bad.

I want to know whats up with Gurley and why wasn't McVay using RBs to block more?

true. the line was pretty terrible and the running game was null against a very average defense. Something is wrong with Gurley. I'm willing to bet its going to cause some strain between him and the team and could be a surprise trade candidate.

Wish Shanahan and Lynch could have created some of that context here.

Wish Shanahan and Lynch had the luxury of taking over a roster that had been rebuilding since like 2010.

True, the 49ers are only in year 5 of rebuilding.

Shanahan and Lynch been here 5 years? wow, time does fly.

No but the team is in the 5th year of the rebuild so Shanalynch took over a team already a few years into a rebuild, same as McVay.
Pisses me off because it should've been Brees. Goff was too easy for Belichick.

It would have been Brees if Brees played better in the NFCCG.

He definitely could've played better, but he wasn't terrible. That defense was tough on Brady too. Then there's the missed PI.

The Goff/Belichick SB matchup was just unfair. People were out of their minds thinking the Rams would win that game.

Ain't that the truth

Saints botched that last red zone drive. The PI was a cop-out

This. The PI sucked but the Aints could've won in OT.

In a match-up of big games, picking the best QB will usually be a winner. When you add in the best coach to the best QB, it is pretty simple.

I picked the Rams to win just because I couldn't stand the thought of NE winning another one. I knew somehow the Patriots would pull it out.
