If nothing else dude brings leadership, toughness and a bit of swag to the young defense. Hes a competitor I see him having something to prove with a huge chip on his shoulder to quiet all the washed up and injured talk ...if not hopefully there is an easy out after the 1st year

In my view this is a great signing assuming 49ers did due diligence with health issues. I live up here in Seahawk country and have friends who are rabid fans of Seahawks. Word from them is that Sherman is solid citizen who contributes to community. He is thought of as more of a leader in locker room than a disruption. DB's of this caliber are hard to find at any price. Even Steve Young yelled at his coaches.
