If he wins a title with us it will change how they view the tip. It will get replayed and theyll be happy but also think f**k he won one with them too

No they still wanted the cap room. They shopped him last offseason too remember. Samething happens, they ask for a pay cut to be accepted, he still says no but they are at least able to trade him but its certainly not to us.

If he doesn't earn all-pro but still plays well there's no reason for SF to not bring him back under the terms of the contract for 2019. It just won't automatically kick in.
