I brought this up earlier about TO, people(49ers fans) still adore him for some reason, even though he weaseled his way out of the Ravens trade, into Philly, screwed us over, we got crap in return, he bashed our franchise, threw everyone including Garcia under the bus, and said he won't go into the HOF as a 49er, yet fans love him still, but Sherman says something about Crabtree, which now looks to be legit, and OMG how dare we sign him. For the record I hate TO, he screwed the organization over. I'm happy Sherman is a 49er. Sherman = Not a cancer, Owens = Cancer to any team he is on.

Sherm, held his own with regard to his, as well as others assignments, within Seattle's Defensive Scheme.

He's also a master of getting under peoples skin and shaking their focus. Hell we could almost say he ruined Kap and made Crabtree quite on this team.

If I am not mistaken, TO also did not show up for the NFL Honors and SB with the new HoF inductees. TO is and always will be about TO.

One big thing about this signing is that Seattle lost practically all of their leadership in one off season, on defense.

Sherman, Bennett and potentially Chancellor. Those guys all brought more than just talent and skill. They brought a certain kind of fire and leadership that made everyone else better and held them accountable. That stuff is hard to replace.

Reminds me of how our defense lost Justin Smith, Pwillis etc all in one off season, the loss was more than just their talent but our heart and soul.

GREAT point about TO being a cancer (and a perpetual one at that) and Sherman NOT being one. Sure both guys are HUGE a$$holes, but TO was an idiot who cared only about his own glory (like you, I still can't figure why some 49er fans like him) while Sherm is intelligent enough to be a team player. Either way, we GOT him so let's hope he can still KICK SOME ASS!

I guess it's time to dust off that old slogan I used from the TO days: "Sure he's an a$$hole but he's OUR a$$hole"
