Don't have to like the signing or the person just as long as the player performs well and gets the job done. He'll always be a douche in the back of my mind, but while he's temporarily employed by the team I love, I'll deal

That's pretty much how I feel right now. It's similar to how I felt about Ray McDonald. I never cared much at all for him as a person, but every time he nailed a running back in the backfield for a loss I'd find myself thinking "way to go, Ray Mac!".

I'll be open to see if Sherman has matured and if so, I could very well end up thinking of him as not being a douche anymore. But he's going to have to show me his douchelessness.

For sure!

Goodwin also stating he's happy to have Sherman on the team vs playing against him.
Hmm... the 49ers official announcement doesn't include a press conference time like the Jimmy G signing did. Maybe they'll wait until after free agency to present all the new signings together?

Hope not. Sherman gonna get most of the questions anyways so just give him his own

Exactly. Like I said last night there's still a lot of bad blood between some of our fans and Sherman. We need to get that straightened out ASAP

This right here is why I am most excited, regardless of how much he returns to form. He will be the defacto secondary coach, and will really help all the young corners even if he is not on the field.

One big thing about this signing is that Seattle lost practically all of their leadership in one off season, on defense.

Sherman, Bennett and potentially Chancellor. Those guys all brought more than just talent and skill. They brought a certain kind of fire and leadership that made everyone else better and held them accountable. That stuff is hard to replace.

Reminds me of how our defense lost Justin Smith, Pwillis etc all in one off season, the loss was more than just their talent but our heart and soul.

Here's to hoping Cheat Carroll and the Seadderall SeaChickens revert back to their lifetime .500 win/loss percentage averages.
