yeah that was good; but they still have the best Safety combo in the NFL.

Kam Chancellor may never play another snap for Seattle or possibly any other NFL team. Its not a given that they don't trade ET too.

Yeah, except that Kam will never see the field.

Just saw that deal on the front page...wow he screwed himself or bet on himself depending on how you look at it.

You'd think he could have gotten a better deal elsewhere.

He is also very intelligent from what I have read, but he should have still retained an agent.

I actually respect he is betting on himself. If he earns 90%+ of that contract he be kicking some serious ass for us.

In an article I read on Saturday, Sherman, mentioned he hired/uses a Contract Attorney to go over his draft

I found/read 2 good articles, you might find interesting. Together, they answer all the questions that Fans are asking.
I understand time is precious … as these are not one and two paragraph reads. They will however -- if you haven't
read them -- prove to be very insightful.

The Q13 Fox ArticleSherman says he loves the 12s, but felt 'vengeful' toward Seahawks for letting him go
The Sports Illustrated ArticleNegotiating With The Enemy: Inside the Richard Sherman-49ers Contract Talks

Here's a few quotes:

"We had something no other team could offer," Lynch said.
What?
"The ability to play Seattle twice a year," Lynch said.
When that was relayed to Sherman, he paused for a second.
Sherman said: "I'm vengeful in that way."

That's what it sounded like. But I wanted to make sure.
I asked him to repeat that.
"Vengeful," Sherman said.
"I love the fan base to death, and I loved playing there. It was such a great opportunity.
I helped the organization get to a great place and stay there. But now it's like I abandoned them.
People are out there burning my jersey. Come on. I'm not the one who let me go. They let me go.
I didn't abandon anybody."

Sherman probably gonna be motivated more than ever! This a scary thought for the rest of the NFL
Sherman just took out the middleman. So many middle men in this world that make so much money solely based on networking. The agents already have a team of lawyers. All agents does is rake some money.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Welcome Richard Sherman. Gonna be more than exceptionally fun to watch twice per year.

More than that, I think he could be someone to help Garoppolo even. Sherman's strength isn't so much his athletic ability as it is his awareness, football IQ and attention to detail.

Pointing out tendencies on film coming from a CB's perspective could be useful to a QB if they care to learn.

he is a natural born leader.. i would love to have anyone tell me who the leader on the defense is after bowman left?/ anyone? exactly cc's point,

And they are currently willing to trade Thomas.

Most agents are scumbags who don't do anything other than copy and paste while collecting a percentage. I wish more athletes had Sherman's intelligence so that they could start phasing them out of sports.
You guys see Peter Kings article on signing Sherman?

Great read. I particularly liked the section where Lynch brought up playing Seattle twice a year.

On the field: Reid
Locker room/Sideline/IR: Smith

EDIT: Did you just refer to yourself in the 3rd person or think you were on one of your alternate accounts?
