I didn't think so either. It was setup by the production after the game for which ever winner. Rub in your face for the loser, but wasn't that turkey leg started with Madden...?

NBC, IMO knew exactly what they were doing.
Look back at any post game Thanksgiving footage/photos, and you'll
notice the eating of the turkey ritual, has taken place at the Analyst Table.
