Per Richard Sherman:
"I don't think any agent in the business could have done a better job of negotiating this contract,"
Sherman told me by phone on Sunday night. "As long as I'm content with what I'm making, nothing
else matters to me.
The 49ers have skin in the game. I have skin in the game. In my former contract, no matter what I
did this year, nothing would be guaranteed to me next year. I couldn't feel secure in my contract.
Now, if I play the way I know I'm capable of playing, I know I'm going to get paid."

In his own words concernin the turkey thing at mid field:
"The NBC producers grabbed [quarterback Russell Wilson and myself] after the game," Sherman said. "They kind of pushed us to the middle of the field, and sat us down, and were like, 'How about some turkey dinner?' I was like, 'Okay, well...'
"At first they were kind of pushing it as a post-game interview for the Player of the Game ... You're excited after a game, you're winning, you're not thinking of anything else honestly. Just kind of enjoying the moment."
Sherman went on to say that he did not mean it as anything disrespectful and the whole situation was kind of forced on him.
Are we able to have some perspective now n move forward or na? Askin for a friend.

If I was the owner, I'd be enjoying my 100 steak and laughing about it.... because.......................................
Instead of getting upset with me for going to a new team how about you get upset with the people who forced me to go. If one job fires you and another job offers you a great position I highly doubt most ppl would go back to the old job for a lot less money
