Sherman's response to Thomas illustrates the main reason Sherman is so successful. His confidence is, honestly, inspiring.

He may have ruffled a few (okay, a lot) of feathers, but each day that passes I am happier he signed here. Even if he never regains his old form, his mental acuity, belief, personality, character...both the good and the bad, will be a case study for these young guys on the 49ers re being a professional in the NFL.

Well, for me it took a few drinks. Then I started to think about the scheme fit (because is a good fit schematically), how he fits the physical mold of the kind of CB Robert Saleh covets, that he's no threat to have of-the-field issues, that we take a big piece from a hated rival, and that he has a honest motivation for beating said rival. So after knocking back a few straight with a couple IPA chasers I've fully come around to this.

I cannot wait for the season to start I guarantee you that both SF - Sea games will be on national TV.

Does Seattle have any WRs that need covering?
