I don't see a problem with what he's doing. Other players probably wish they could do the same thing so there could be a hint of jealousy in the criticism of the contract.

If he hits all the incentives in his contract Sherman will make a little more ... just two less years. In other words, Butler can slough off and still make no less than 30 mill ... lol.

We need CB's. BADLY. He's a CB. A potential HOF CB. But maybe he doesn't come off injury at his former level! Even at 90% he's better than anything we have. But what if he's even worse than that? It's a largely incentive-based contract.
Dude has a mouth. Dude craves attention. I'd rather have an annoying CB than one that gets burned. And maybe, just maybe he'll bring some attitude to our soft defense and make them better.
Anyone who would pass on this deal is freaking nuts.

One thing I love about Sherman is how he always turns his head around and locates the ball unlike all our damn cbs and most times than not he catches the ball. That's something our young cbs can learn to force turnovers something our d lacked big time
