Are you a Lakers fan too I'm guessing? Small world my dude! Glad to meet you, I'm Adam.

Go 9ers! We're coming out harder than Viagra next year baby!

Adam, although I believe one-on-one's -- as we both noted -- can, and at times, do change a person's mindset about a player.
IMO, here's the problem: most Die-Hard Fans, of any sport, are usually off-the-charts with their Fandom. I believe it has to do
with the amount of time, finance, and emotional energy we put into it.

So although they understand they are dealing with regular people … their allegiance to "fill in the blank", just won't allow them --
under any circumstance -- to see a player e.g. Sherman, in any other light.

As I mentioned previously in my other reply, re: Prime Time … it's only since he's retired, that I can kinda' deal with him.
That being said, his constant self promoting ways still irks me … so for me, it's only in small doses at a time.

BTW - I'm Rôme, and not a Laker Fan … I'm not from Diego. It became my home, when I was stationed there (U.S. Navy)

He was a great player when he was young and healthy once but now he's someone else's garbage.

Would only consider to take him if they cut him and he took a below market offer.

Nah. He just plays the role. If we signed him and he and Spoon lock down both ends with Colbert able to have free reign. Man, I wouldn't give two f**ks if he helped us win a title.

I remember hating Ken Norton and Larry Allen until they played for us.

yeah and seems like he has really matured over the last couple of years. I talked to some seahawk fans who said he changed his tone once he became a father.

I don't think his teammates ever had any issues with him. He seemed to always be good in the locker room. That's pretty much the main way you can tell if a player is simply a loudmouth (Deon Sanders) or if he is a potential cancer (Terrell Owens).
no thanks

I feel you Rome. Gotcha, yeah I figured hating the Celtics meant you were a Lakers fan haha.
I really hope he goes to an AFC team.

It would be pure gold if he went to the Patriots
Great player, but can't abide with his incessant jibber-jabbering. He'd be a good fit in Cincinnati.

or the Steelers
Him and Baldwin both should have been niners anyway...

He's on the backend of his career but he's better than ward or dj so I would take him at the right price.

He's and instant upgrade at a position of need.
I'll sign him on a 2 year deal if there's no plans on taking Denzel ward or josh Jackson in the 1st, let's fix our pass rush and Sherman on a new up and coming team playing against his former team would rejuvenate him. I just don't like the Achilles injury on an older player but I'll take that chance on a cheap deal
He'll want a huge contract but won't get it and stay a seahawk and get "injured" again.

Would a game winning interception in the playoffs help?!
