I'm not necessarily advocating for him to come here. I don't know how he might be after the rehab from the Achilles. What I am not too uptight about is his attitude from the past. The guy is a great self-promoter and a very smart guy. He has build his brand pretty well. That involves creating some agitation, which he has done.
He reminds me of a comment that Glen Frey of the Eagles made about Isaac Asimoff, their long-time manager. Asimoff had a well-earned reputation for being very stubborn about negotiations and short on patience for those who did not see things his way. For all of that, he was a very shrewd business manager who always got the best for the band. Frey said, "He is the devil himself...but he is our devil."
If...IF, Sherman came here and played well, I'm sure a lot of his critics would soon learn to love the "devil."
