Mental health is no joke and even more salient when under the influence. I'm just glad he didn't hurt himself and/or others. The only good thing about this public airing is that he'll most likely be more inclined to get help and knowing him, he'll probably become a mental health advocate which would be huge!

Most people that can drink responsibly don't get hammered and crash their cars. It's a huge warning sign.

Some people have a dark night, or a dark period. Are they all alcoholics?

There's no other way this could have gotten out but through the in-laws. Like I said in my post above, when this thing first aired I suspected some things about the in-laws, and this video leakage just confirms it. His wife's family put this out there.
Now, I don't know if his wife was in on this. But if she wasn't then shame on her for not being able to keep her family under control, or keep her distance from them if she couldn't. If she was in on this Sherman needs officially retire from football, lawyer up with a team of lawyers, fight for 50-50 custody of his children, and go about the business of putting as much of his assets and money into financial entities out of the reach of child support and alimony as legally possible.

Damn Sherman must've been going thru it hard knowing there wasn't a lot interest in him and with TC around the corner got him even more down. Good chance he won't see the field for a while unless major injuries to corners start happening

Yea it doesn't sit right with me. Sounds like her family may have been too involved in their relationship.

The darkest moment of my life was around 2009 - 10. I left California for Texas. My wife got an outstanding opportunity. Unfortunately, that when things went south for the US economy and it took my almost two years to find a job...
It still sticks with me, the depression and despair is very real. After that moment, my attitude towards those down on their luck did a 180. But it took a life altering experience for that to happen. And, I don't know if I could ever go through that again...

The fact that the footage was released looks like an angle for the wife to get full custody of the kids and as much money as possible.
Yes, I was wondering how the news got a hold of it. Do we know that the family released it?
It's looks like a Ring doorbell video footage. I guess the family could have released it to the police and then the police made it public? That sounds worse.
Neighbor recently told me people have been hacking into ring cameras. Could be that. Looked like someone watching it on their phone
