He expresses remorse for his actions, yet plead not guilty to all five charges. How can you claim to be remorseful and claim you didn't donit at the same time? C'mon Sherm. You just screwed up. Own it and take your licks. Be a man.

This could have - and should have - been handled within the family. I feel this was a ploy with his wife's family. He needs to divorce her NOW!!
Richard showed up to bust down their door and you think it's her family that has a problem? Okay. I can understand the point that maybe the police didn't need to be involved there but there was kids on the other side of that door. You show up like a mad man on their property and yeah they have the right to call the cops.
But my immediate thoughts are this is cte related and I hope Richard gets some help. No judgment meant towards him.

Maybe so, but the police did not have to be called. With the relationship between law enforcement and Black men have calling the police on Richard Sherman could have cost him his life. She sided against him with her family. It says a lot to me that he's been with this woman for 10 years, but they married only 3 years ago. I cannot speak for no other community, but in the Black community (for the most part) the police isn't called unless there is a REAL life threatening issue, and this wasn't it.
The father-in-law have been knowing this man for 10 years. The fact that he pulled a gun tells me that there's a large back story to this. From what I've learned, the suburb where they live is quite expensive to live, so I'm sure Richard Sherman paid for that. For the police to be called on him tell me a lot about that family, and his wife.
He should have never married her.
you're assuming way too much.

He has "Mental Issues" . I Read somewhere where he had some kind off court order not to own weapons.
The Major Concern her is the D.U.I . The other stuff is a Private Family matter. So i dont know why some people are getting bent out off shape about his personal life

What makes you think CTE? Love and alcohol tends to drive folks to irrational decisions at times

You don't tend to get court orders that disbar you from gun ownership from DUIs and alcoholism.

This. It looks like he's having increasing suicidal tendencies. Admittedly I'm talking out of my @ though.

Richard Sherman got so drunk that he acted out every guy that has been divorced fantasy of going there and getting your girl back and fighting if needed... After drunkenly wrecking his vehicle. Now he goes on social media and apologizes for his actions while pleading not guilty. LOL! Thank you 2021 for being interesting. Get well Uncle Sherm
