If he can still play a team will sign him. If he can't still play then a team wouldn't have signed him anyways. You guys act like this league isn't filled with people that have done a lot worse. Deshaun Watson will probably still even play this season.

I agree. As hard as he hits he has been mostly concussion free and has been mostly been hampered with lower body and leg injuries.

I think Richard Sherman is going to recover and set s**t straight once and for all
Wow I drank too much, apparently I'm an optimist and I think he can turn it around. He still can actually, but he also can retire early and have an awesome life. Why doesn't he forget about his ex and move on? It's hard especially when you have sent them money before. Just let it go man. Divorce really sucks ive been there. But it's always for the better. He has too much talent and money to give a f**k, so let it go. You have to pull yourself aside and almost laugh. She's not worth it.

Sherman is "deeply remorseful for my actions."
Pleads not guilty.
I love the American legal system.

This is what happens when stars lose their juice. Dude has been on the decline after getting toasted on the biggest stage in football in what turned out to be a game changing moment. I think the realization of your career coming to the end can effect your personal life.
Anyone can get caught up in family drama, I feel bad for him that unfortunately his ended up in the public eye.
Imo, I think he is more of a reduced role type player, or a stand by back up.

yep.

Not gonna argue (reargue) points from other, unrelated, threads that some people are just too intellectually challenged to actually adequately debate. After all, some people's brains short-circuit when their "f" word (not the cuss word) conditioning is confronted with logic, facts, data, and statistics. But I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't be so presumptuous as to tell other people what I think. Such presumption is the height of arrogance, a notable side effect of the "f" word conditioning.
Now, in terms of "blaming the wife", I "blame" her for not managing things between her birth family and the family her and Richard created. I'm married. In a marriage it is the responsibility of each spouse to keep their individual families in check, or keep a healthy distance. Situations like this occur ONLY when one spouse isn't managing family relationships properly, and it reaches a boiling point like this, or there's an underlying agenda somewhere.
So, if I were advising Richard Sherman I'd tell him to retire from the NFL, hire a team of lawyers, protect his assets as much as legally possible from child support and alimony, and get 50-50 parenting time with his kids.
Richard Sherman needs to cut his losses before this gets worse.
Its incredible the amount of assumptions you're making in this thread and about domestic relations in general.
I am free to give people context to your outrageous assumptions because that helps people understand why you are taking the stances you are taking. Nothing I posted about your views is incorrect, and it's pretty hilarious you're insinuating that I'm intellectually challenged when all you're doing is being lazy and blaming feminism and women when you have no idea what is going on. It's on brand for you though to blame the women, even when they're on 911 calling for help, we have video of Sherman flying off the handle, and we have Sherman's own words and apology, yet you sit here blaming the woman for not doing enough. It's on brand and if you don't like it then perhaps don't make such matter of fact conclusions regarding domestic violence, like you're some expert when you're just a guy who…..could use a little more education on abuse

I would be nice for you to deal with only what I say and not run with the byproduct of of your interpretation of what I say.

Alas, the height of arrogance. To think that one has the gravitas to give other people "context" to another's words when the subject person is present for clarity is conceit personified. But then, this is America. We're all free to be a$$holes if we so choose.

Clearly you are arguing something that has nothing to do with this Richard Sherman situation.

"Blaming the woman"! Now that's interesting language, especially when I said I blame the wife. (I know, that may confound you.)
It's on brand and if you don't like it then perhaps don't make such matter of fact conclusions regarding domestic violence, like you're some expert when you're just a guy who…..could use a little more education on abuse
"matter of fact conclusion regarding domestic violence" – please quote me so I can adequately defend myself. And please make sure it's on this topic so that the context don't get lost. And I truly wish you knew my education and expertise. I'm sure you'd benefit from being a loyal client of mines.
Email me for sessions.
Why blame the wife at all? Instead of the person who is clearly unwell, who is seen on video attempting to break down a door, and shouting beligerently at his wife's family? You can feign ignorance and hide behind the technicalities of your wording all you want, but there's more evidence that this is a Richard Sherman problem then there is evidence that this has anything to do with his wife / wife's family.
Just Wow!
Step away from the crack pipe.
Sherm deserves everything he gets and probably more. Strength is not something only shown on the football field.
Agree with a previous post......remorseful but pleads not guilty?????
Get this f'n thread out of the 49er discussion. This idiot is not a Niner.
