He should transition to coaching. I reckon he would be good at that with his knowledge of the game.

I'd sign him up as the db coach next year.

I'd sign him up as the *assistant* db coach next year.

Man, Sherman on IR already.. Age has definitely caught up to him. He just can't stay healthy anymore, and even when he was, he couldn't keep up as well and was starting to really struggle as a tackler as well.
Per NFL.com:
"The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed cornerback Richard Sherman (calf) on injured reserve and will be out at least three games. "

Oh for sure. This guy made a career bc of his technique and knowing what the offense is trying to do. But I'm pretty sure he's gonna be take a job in the media.

His legs are shot. He's been a beast of a player with swagger to go with it but it's time to hang em up.
He still has the wisdom to be a great corner, but the wheels are worn down and falling off. I wanted him to remain with the Niners as a secondary coach. He will retire or the league will retire him this offseason.

I wanted him at SS. It really was more about him being in the DB room. I was dead wrong. I wish he had an interest in coaching. Wish we won that Super Bowl in 2019. That was the end of good Sherman.
