Fire Sorenson and bring back Saleh now
Is this realistic? Would be great if it is.

Just like Wade Phillips, Spagnuolo, Gym Shorts and Fangio, some guys are just better suited to be a coordinator.
Saleh is a good vibes/hype man players type coach which is a lot easier to pull off as a coordinator.

Maybe it's time GMs and owners start doing some real research before they hire these coordinators. It's a lazy way to hire people. They just look at who had the best D or O and then hire the coordinator without doing any deep research to see whether there were other big reasons for the success.

Yeah certain teams luck into a hires like the Dolphins with McDaniels cause I don't think most 49er fans thought he was HC material. Especially when the Dolphins had just fired a HC in Flores who was doing a really good job that firing made no sense.

Look at the Dolphins now. They lose Tua and the offense is ranked last in the league. I know they have some other injuries but no more than a lot of other teams.

A starting QB goes down most teams are going to struggle but I do agree they have enough talent they shouldn't be almost dead last

My understanding is that Robert Saleh was fired this morning and then escorted out of the building by team security. There was no meeting with players to inform them or anything like that. He was in the building for work, and then he was out of the building and out of a job. https://t.co/syDwzCiXZn pic.twitter.com/BH7YjnvRN0

lol zero chance he was ever gonna succeed with the Jets, outside of money just a stupid decision all around. Should've stayed with the 49ere longer, maybe the defense wouldn't be as bad as it is now.
wouldnt be shocked if Mike McDaniel gets axed by seasons end too
Nah Ryans was great, an upgrade on Saleh even. Not having a well defined in house replacement for him was the mistake.
