You could tell their relationship was off all season, but I have a hard time blaming Saleh here. Rodgers has been an ass for years now. To me this just proves Lafleur and McCarthy right.

We saw how good the offense did last year with out Rodgers

They're not exactly lighting the world on fire this year.

They are 4th in yards per game

They're actually 27th in offensive yards a game.

Lebanon isn't doing anything. Lebanon is pretty much being held hostage in this entire situation. It's not like they invited Hezbollah to come in. They were caught up in a brutal civil war and have never recovered from it.

I think what Mangini said, that the Jets losing in London while Johnson had all his hoity toity diplomatic and wealthy business pals in attendance was enough to force his hand.

Deebo spoke highly of him, their relationship, and the time they spent together leading up to the 2021 season.

According to Deebo (to paraphrase): "he and Mike spent lots of time together, during which, Mike told Deebo that he had plans
for him to have a break-out season, and how it would benefit them both". Deebo goes on to state "that I was all in. Seemingly,
McDaniel had plans to utilise Deebo in such a way he'd not previously been used.

I took what Deeb' related during that interview as this: he and Mike had a plan. For Deebo', it was having the type of season
that would get him the big payday he desired - while for McDaniel, it got other clubs interested in him as a possible HC, and
out from under Shanahan' shadow.

I am sure most coaches have massive plans to make their weapons the best they can be.... Not everyone changes the modern game with new wrinkles, but I am sure many conversations go just like this year in and year out.

What did Tyson say? Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face? something like that....

I doubt many coaches are like...."yeah...my plan is for you to be mid level, heck maybe suck....anyway....I have no intention of getting you open or the ball in your hands...."
