Bad head coach and overrated dc. Now guy in Houston I'd bring back in a heartbeat.
Robert had the most talented team defensively by far anyone decent would have looked good.

Doubling down about it he was overrated. Stunk every year except 19 when he had by far the best front 4.

Overrated a bit? Possibly,
Better than Sorenson? Definitely.

When this mess is fully exposed as an AR issue he will get calls for a HC option next year. I don't think he goes back to DC.
AR blows in attitude and performance.

He's not getting another shot as a HC without going back to be a DC and prove himself again. Dan Quinn and Josh McDaniels are 2 easy examples off the top of my head.

Makes sense. LaFleur was best man at Saleh's wedding. They go way back together.

Because home is like a 40 minute flight from Green Bay. Because he and LaFleur go back decades.
If Green Bay didn't have Hafley, who is doing a good job as DC, I'd say that Saleh is a shoo-in to be the next Packers DC. And he still might be if Hafley decides to return to being a HC in college.

Thing about Salah, he would be an excellent next-level-down guy, a kind of sideline hype man. His rah-rah 'Go out and get 'em' game was absolutely excellent. His x and o's were unconvincing - felt like he was rolling the dice the whole time.
If you could get him rallying the troops, while someone else called the shots you'd be on to a winner.
