A guy like Jonathan Hankins would be a huge addition to this D. Has familiarity with Zgonia and Mayhew should help.

Brooks doesn't fit in a 4-3, and Bowman played OLB in college in a 4-3.
I would say right now it would be:
RE: Harold (upgrade needed)
RDT: Buckner
LDT: Armstead
LE: Lynch
ROB: Bowman
MLB: (upgrade needed)
LOB: RayRay

Saleh wasn't brought here to change our defense, I can say that pretty confidently. He has never even been a DC before. We are keeping the 3-4 and thats why we kept tarver, etc.
So we hire someone to lead our defense so they can run a defense that they have very little experience with? I think we're scarily attached the the 3-4 lol.

We hire someone and basically hand pick his staff? You tell me? The writing is on the wall IMO.

Well I think we're gonna try to imitate what NE has done for years, which is have multiple packages and not have a set defense. Their scheme can plug in a lot of players which is why they always trade players primed for big contracts the season after. This is why I wish we would've gotten Flores, but whats done is done.

All this 3-4 / 4-3 argument is wasted. The base defense in the modern NFL is the nickel. 63.4% of snaps in 2015, and it's rising every year, were in the nickel.

He attended Northern Michigan University, where he was a four-year starter and an all-conference tight end.
