Man I hope he has the defense come out and just smash and ball out. Great read thanks!

The best part I took from this article is how Kyle frequently consults with Saleh regarding the Niners offensive tape, and how he would game plan against it. Says a lot about dudes knowledge!
Happy Birthday Coach!

I always wondered if he and Saleh coordinated together like that. I am sure Kyle also tells him exactly how he would shred our defense.

Reid vs Saleh is the big coaching matchup (over Kyle vs Spagnuolo). Saleh's going to have to come up with the gameplan of his life. No idea what he'll do but I think he needs to continuously mix it up so Reid/Mahomes never has a beat on what's about to come. Man, zone, blitz backed up with man, blitz backed up with zone, rush only 3 - just mix it up for the sake of mixing it up. Break away from tendencies all the while being assignment sound.

Reid was able to counter both Crennel and Vrabel. They stayed in defenses too long, IMO. BB in the 2nd half when they played them, mixed up man and zone and Reid couldn't get a peg on what they were going to do and Mahomes isn't a sophisticated enough QB to handle the full field reads from the pocket.
I do not fear them

You making that statement is pretty comforting. I was going to ask what did Bill Belichek do last year. Clearly the Chiefs still put up 30+, but I think Kyle can call a game where we can put up 30+ on them. The question is the right mix of ball control to slow down the game, give us a TOP advantage (I seriously would like us to have a 2 to 1 advantage in this category), as well as a stop here and there, holding them to FGs, and as you said, mixing up the coverages.

Michael Strahan said something interesting today. He said between having a great pass rush and a mediocre DB backfield versus having a mediocre rush but a great defensive backfield, he'd rather have a mediocre backfield and an excellent pass rush. His reasoning was that if the DLine gets to the QB, it really doesn't matter how bad the DB's are. But if the DLine can't get to the QB, even if you have hall of fame DB's back there, give a decent QB and WR all the time to pass and even they can burn the all pro DBs.

Cleveland would have ruined his coaching career before it even got started.
This game will come down to defense.

The defense does still struggle with 1) Pace (hurry up), 2) Screens (esp. middle and delayed) 3) Seam routes and 4) Off-schedule plays (losing their receivers)

If Saleh can help reduce these four weaknesses, we win.

LFG!

Saleh has the most pressure, even more than Shanny. We need him to put our Defense in good positions. Kwaun, our nickel and dime must show up tomorrow.

Our team struggles against big backs. Henry gone helps that. I'm really not sure Mahomes can do it, but the media seems to know something we don't b

A big part of that is losing tart and Kwon, they are back. As for off schedule plays, dee Ford really helps on those, but when hes out, the QB can dance around back there.

Good news- all three are healthy and you didnt see a lot if off schedule success by Vikings or Green Bay.
GTFO
I'll fight anyone that defends this POS!
