I don't think anyone is dismissing how good he was but the team still has 4 1st rounders on the d line. If we stay healthy it's still the best d line in football with a superior edge rush/ and formidable inside rush. Health is the key though because Ford is always shaky and you just never know with everyone else. We still have better depth than most if not all teams but you can't duplicate a Ford or Bosa.

Iirc he was very highly considered at the time of drafting. Whilst he isn't another Armstead, the zone basically wrote off AA as well as ST. I will keep an open mind until we can see him in action again, which may be this summer or next.

People saying it was some kind of major reach crack me up. Straight revisionist history. Just google 2017 NFL mock draft and you see him going picks 2-5 on practically all of them.

Tony Oden will be coaching the defensive backs. Doesn't look like their gonna have a defensive passing game coordinator this year.
