Question: How is the new defensive backs coach approaching the secondary? Are the 49ers simply teaching the overall scheme or did he bring new ideas to the position?
Barrows: The 49ers definitely have a new wrinkle(s) under new defensive backs coach Tony Oden. Again, this is the very thing the 49ers are most leery of revealing. But it's a good question and something that will be worthy of a story after the Week 1 game against the Cardinals.
