We'll see if Donte Johnson gets an extension next. He might be more of a one or two-year extension guy. Witherspoon is too raw still and the 49ers could go after Trumaine Johnson in the offseason.

trying to figure out why we are extending members of the nfls worst secondary. let them prove themselves this year and then either extend or cut them. this entire unit including reid and ward need to be blown apart in the off season. if lynch is really knowledgeable about the secondary due to his back ground. he should be really concerned. i guess asa is due next for a big pay day?

I thought Williams looked okay the first two games, but against the Rams

FO should've waited until closer to end of the season to sign him to an extension if showed any promise. But that's just me.

Could have waited until after his match up with Fitz. Might have gotten him at a cheaper rate. That's not a large contract by any means though.
