CB K'Waun Williams

This guy should be our top back priority

Very good nickel corner. He has always been a great blitzer of the edge as well (go watch the GB playoff game). He is 29 years old. I'd sign him to a three year deal. That's the max I'd be comfortable with in terms of length. He should be resigned. He's either resigning here or going to Detroit.

I agree, 3 years is good. Happy new year to all and new hope and injury free for 49ers 2021 season.

Williams is definitely a must sign this offseason. 3 yr deal at 8 million a year.

So how many comp picks are you allowed to get in a single season for players lost in FA? We most likely won't sign anyone in FA that will go into the formula, but we should lose (Sherman-Tartt) at a minimum, and probably K. WIlliams as well that will net us a pick. Here's to hoping T. WIlliams+Juice+Hyder are brought back.

If Saleh takes the Lions job he won't be able to sign many players, they're up against the cap worse than the 49ers are.

Max 4, players with 10 or more accrued seasons only get you a 5th, unless they are a QB, that's why NE will get a 3rd for losing Brady, so max 5th for Sherman. Probably a 5th for Tartt depending on salary. They'll also probably get one for DJ Jones, I don't see them bringing him back when they can plug Givens in there. It comes down to the likes of Tevin Coleman, Ronald Blair, Solomon Thomas, Ahkello Witherspoon, C.J. Beathard, Ziggy Ansah, Tom Compton, Ben Garland, and others. Jerick McKinnon may not count as his contract voids, I think they modified the formula, so contracts that void no longer count. Hoping they keep Juice, Trent, Hyder, Verrett, and K'Waun.

Right there with you on who I hope we bring back that are FA's. It sure would make things a little easier going into the draft, assuming we're able to cut both Ford+Richburg to accomplish the resigning of those key FA's of ours. Assuming Jimmy G is brought back for 2021, then in the draft we need to go CB RD1, C RD2, assuming we get a 3rd for Saleh leaving, we should probably draft a CB/S type mainly someone to take over for Ward at FS after 2021, the rest of the draft I go BPA, but would like to get a WR late who can be our Kick and Punt returner.

Dontae Johnson filled in really well at the slot.

I know people have mentioned K'Waun being an important signing this offseason. It can not go understated how important he is and how important he is of a signing. But I will be honest,I fear he will go with Saleh more so now with the Jets, being he is from Patterson. I look at the three levels and I think Bosa, Warner, and Williams. Losing Williams will be a huge hit.

He's injury prone and will be 30 in July. If the price is right keep him. Otherwise it is what it is
