Yeah I was expecting Kwaun to be signed no later than the 2nd day of free agency. Either by the Niners or another team. How this guy went through the whole tampering period and through day 4 of free agency is baffling to me. Are he and Hyder holding out for too much money? Have the Niners even made them offer? I can't see any reason why they haven't.

It could be that they want too much, or that teams aren't prioritizing these guys above others at their positions, I'm shocked the 49ers haven't made offers/deals with them, nothing's been reported, except on Monday that the Jets & K'Waun had mutual interest, nothing since, and nothing on Hyder.

Very possible, or teams don't value them high enough over others at their positions. Still shocked Desmond King only got $2.5M(max of $3.5M) on a 1yr deal.

I keep seeing this take on 49er DBs and keep saying to myself, we don't know how our NEW defensive coordinator views DBs. Just because he worked under Saleh doesn't mean Ryans runs his defense the same way nor does he necessarily value the positions the same way.

the back end but it will be interesting to see how they replenish the back end including a SS. Cannot go with Harris who takes bad angles and not the greatest in coverage.
