The only edge I see worth top 15 is Jaelan Phillips and he has been concussed. My top prospects for 12 are Lance, Slater, Pitts, Surtain. For a trade down is Phillips, Vera-Tucker and Horn.

Well there are still some guys out there... The middle looks a little better, but Edge is weaksauce at this point for me.

Yeah I don't see any Edge as a top 15 talent. Only Phillips, but he has the injury concerns.

Wonder why it's all one year deals

Easy. Because nobody will pay them big after the covid down year. A one year deal, they play out of their minds and go to get the big money when the cap goes up next year. It's happening all over the league.

Why can't they sign then to multiyears that are backloaded
Awesome, but I admit I was hoping for a long term deal. He is a player you put out there and don't worry cause he does a great job.

Right there with you on that.

Verrett, Tartt and K'waun have all the injury concerns so I understand why they didn't get the long term deals. Specially after the Richburg-Ford fiasco.

Its more the players wanting one year than teams. They all want to cash in next year with the cap going back up etc.

I believe agents are telling players to take these deals. Tartt and Kwaun knows in SF they have the better chance to have a great season with a system they are familiar and they can boost their value for next year.

100%. Its more the players side than teams. Everyone gets it tho. It makes sense and people are supposed to be on themselves lol
And FA is just great this year, assuming that they do get him. Excellent work, team.

Yeah it all makes sense. I guess I was thinking from the teams perspective, the opposite, knowing it's a down year on cap and that it will go up, trying to lock them up longer before they ask for more after a "contract" year. Now we will just be doing this all over again next year
