So Kwaun, J Ward, and Mosley all have excellent numbers is pass coverage this year. It has been the other players who are struggling.

I know PI calls are one factors not include in the pass coverage stats, but it still doesn't feel like our pass coverage is good enough that 3 out of 5 DBs (in nickel) can have excellent pass coverage stats.

I hope they didn't jinx him like they did ward the past week. He had given up no TDs at all then suddenly he does cause they posted that info.

I'm pretty sure K'waun was responsible for giving up the first TD to Thielen as it looked like he blew the coverage.

then wouldn't that make that post above false?

Depends on if they attributed it to him or not. It was his responsibility, but he wasn't the closest defender to Thielen when he caught the TD (because him and Moseley covered the same guy when KW should have gone with Theilen).

i would consider that fixed it hasnt been an issue since the cardinals game
I'll keep saying it, extend K'Waun, 3yr deal, $6M a yr, well worth the money, he's money, when he and Ward are on the field the defense is so much better, I'd also look into extending Ward.

agreed, I'd be surprised if we can actually keep him for that price.

I kind of feel this way about Ward too. Maybe not elite players, but overwhelmingly solid players that seem to always be doing the right thing.

Agreed, while K'Waun & Ward aren't elite, they're damn good, as is, IMO, Armstead, is he worth $17M a yr, no, but, it is what it is.

Love Williams. Just think we will need to make up for who he and Ward are with more big play corners and safeties. Hoping Moore recovers and continues to progress. Hoping we can get him locked up on another 2-3 year deal.
Hopefully this guy clears Covid protocol before sunday. His coverage in the slot is great and all but god damn hes such an asset in run blitzing.

He's a go versus DAL. Thank goodness, no Donate Johnson in the slot.
