I'm a fan of K'Waun
yes, he does get beat against better WR's, but his aggressive tackling and run support is more than enough to warrant a return

Cooper Kupp will make ANY cb look average, I can't blame him, it's a crazy hard cover especially if your dline is not getting home quick.

He's not going to take a 1 year deal. He's 30 and this is probably the last big deal he signs. He'll get 8-10 million a year in a multi year deal from some team out there easy. Not saying he'll deserve it but someone will pay him and I hope it's not this team.
He was on the open market last year and didn't sniff those kind of offers. I doubt that will change.
Yeah I don't see K'Waun getting anywhere near $8M-$10M a yr, his ceiling should be $6M a yr, floor $4M a yr, I'd give him a 3yr deal, he's a good CB, yeah he struggled against Davante Adams & Cooper Kupp, but those are 2 of the best WRs in the league, he's usually a top notch slot CB, that INT in the wild card round was beautiful, he's a keeper along with Laken, DJ, Arden, & Willis.
Also, for those who keep saying this guy will get this much, remember last yr, people said Hyder would get $10M a yr, or close to it, he got $3.5M a yr, not sure also why people fixate over him, he had 8.5 sacks in 2020, 1.5 sacks in 2021, I wonder if Key is a product of the Wide 9 4-3 system, so those thinking he'll get more than say $6M a yr after 1 really good year is just crazy talk IMO, same for Willis, he's more of a $2M-$4M a yr guy IMO.
The bigger contracts would be Laken & DJ, Laken should net between $8M-$9M a yr, and DJ should get $6M a yr, maybe more, I hope he stays with us, both actually, we'll see, Feb 15th is when Laken's deal voids, so if they want to sign him & avoid a $1,204,059 dead money charge, they need to do it before the deal voids.

But its not just Kupp, he struggled in coverage a lot this year. He's great at the line of scrimmage but downfield he is getting worse and worse. I'm just concerned next year will be even worse.

Kupp had a historic campaign and would be a worthy league MVP. Williams took it off him in the endzone in a strictly one on one. KW won that battle. The first Kupp TD sailed over the head of Thomas and was in coverage vs Tartt. Williams held his own imo against the best receiver in the game this year.

It's because he lacks long range speed. He has great short area quickness, ideal for the slot, but not outside on the boundary. That and he's only 5'9.

He's 30yrs old and going to be 31. Has had a lot of injuries(never played a full season) and appears to be on the decline. I wouldn't sign him for longer than 1 yr and not for very much.

I would give him the same deal or maybe slightly cheaper than last year to come back. K'Waun makes plays, especially in the playoffs. Against Dallas and LA

Hes been solid this year. It's no easy task going up against the top WR in the NFL this year.
Hope he comes back. 3 years, 15 mil.

I will be surprised if he is back. They drafted Lenoir to be his replacement. Or if they bring back Verrett I can see them moving Eman to Nickel.
