8 million?? What??

we should pay the more often injured players than him.
I see Williams similar to Tartt. Good veterans, but guys we may have to let go. Let the youth movement begin in the secondary. I think how the staff feels about Lenoir is going to dictate what Williams will get. I expect the Deebo and Bosa deals to get done. After that there is DJ Jones, Arden Key, and Laken Tomlinson. Slight possibility for Dre Greenlaw but I actually expect them to wait a year. You have to have some guys on rookie deals to offset the big contracts. We will see the magic Paraag can pull off.

Yeah, he got beat real bad on that td pass to Kupp. He just isn't fast enough to cover anymore.

What corner wouldn't, and hasn't been beaten by Kupp? Like I said, I'd love to add massive speed in the secondary, but Kupp is a beast.

It isn't just Kupp - he get's routinely beat by other receivers, too. He's just not good at coverage, anymore.

Ward has owned Kupp quite a few times and I wish we had more coverage from Ward vs Williams. We've done it before and had great success. It was a bad non adjustment by Ryan's imo

I would give him the same deal or maybe slightly cheaper than last year to come back. K'Waun makes plays, especially in the playoffs. Against Dallas and LA

he'll have his game here and there.. .. but basically, he's got that TARGET on his back..

The only reason he had the "target" on him was because he was lined up against Kupp in the slot. He's still the best DB SF has.

Yeah that's insane lol. SF needs to get some fresh blood in there in the slot. Kyler Gordon at Washington is someone to keep an eye on

Due to his age and injury history he may very well have to take another 1 year deal

He's good . Just concerned about handing slot duties over to a rookie

If they don't want to keep Kwaun then signing your boy Jackson makes a lot of sense.
They should go for someone fresh and young. Either way, its going to be hard to cover Kupp for the next couple years.
Time to move on. He has declined some and has injury history. Make the Bill Walsh move and replace them sooner even if they have an OK year or two left.

J.C Jackson? That man is gonna make bank this yr...I don't think he's primarily a slot DB either.
