I've watch two and a half games from Goodwin 2016 - NYJ, @MIA, and 49ers. I stopped watching the 49ers game when RR left the game near the start of the 3rd quarter. I definitely see good things from Goodwin to have a role in an offense. From what I've seen, not too much, I don't think it's a TGabriel type of role because I feel Goodwin is more about straight line speed and is a clear notch below Gabriel when it comes to shiftiness and short area quickness. Shanahan liked throwing short passes to Gabriel and let him YAC. Matt Ryan's accuracy is all world compared to Tyrod Taylor's accuracy which allows the short passing game to help TGabriel's usage. I see Goodwin being used in a similar role as he was in BUF, but we'll see. Maybe Goodwin is scatty enough but wasn't used in that way in the games I saw him. He did catch a little screen pass versus the 49ers and got tracked down by AA.
