Agree. I got caught up in the prototype but he will do his job of keeping Ds honest. If we get the run game going which we are... then Goodwin becomes more,and more, and more dangerous.

Which comment? I'm talking about the idea that Patterson would be better than Goodwin.

In college, Patterson was better. But Goodwin is faster and more productive in the NFL, which isnt saying much compared to Patterson. But I do think Patterson's ceiling is higher based on his talent level but apperently, he struggled learning the playbook so he's not effective unless it's as a returner. I was juiced for the Goodwin signing though cause I've always been a fan of his. He's here to keep defenses honest and will probably have a lot of long TDs. I hope we can get him the ball in space. That's where he'll do damage.

I do think Shanahan will find plenty of ways to get him in space for sure

I think going from Texas to freezing his @$$ off in Buffalo probably hurt him, but now that he is coming to sunny Santa Clara things may change for the better!

He's probably stoked as hell to leave cold azz buffalo. They're definitely targeting Corey Davis or Williams at ten after losing Woods and Goodwin.
