WR Marquise "Flash" Goodwin (traded to PHI)

Yeah, the free safety absolutely plays a part in how the CB plays the route. As does the coverage call.

In man context, I've seen Pete Carroll/Nick Saban teach their DBs to squeeze the outside release(which is how Goodwin released) into the boundary and keep their inside shoulder on top of the WR's outside shoulder. This way they only have to worry about curls/comebacks. Rashard lost that inside shoulder leverage and allowed Goodwin to stack(get on top) him. Rashard lost at the LOS, tho. He punched with the wrong hand and whiffed.

Gotcha. Hopefully thats the part where Ward comes in and picks it or kills the WR

Good stuff...no doubt, with that speed, at any moment MG can stop or go and I bet he's got all these CB's stuttering in their coverage. Running out of the slot isn't even fair. LOL

Shanny used Sanu in the slot a fair amount i believe as well.. I wonder if that's gonna be Robinsons role if he makes it.

Speaking of which, Ive heard squat on him,Smelter,Ellington.

Saw a video of Burbridge against Spoon i believe for a lil catch.

Aldrick had a nice catch today and Smelter had a big, big bodied catch yesterday. We need some outside muscle!

Maybe we can talk Smelter into an IR special if he loses to Robinson lol.

Im really intrigued with Bolden.. I got him as our 6th right now. Go look at his KR highlights alone and it makes me sad to say he beat Redmond bad on a play. Im really praying they were practicing something and it wasnt that legit lol.
If Goodwin can be our Tyreek Hill of KC

Yeah, I go back and forth on a 6th WR myself. I just don't see it (right now) unless it's like a guy like Smelter (size) or Bolden (returner). But we'll see!

LOL...this ain't the HaRoman offense anymore. Kyle will actually utilize and scheme to players like Moss, Ginn, Moore, Goodwin, etc.

He's already added a full route tree to Goodwin AND is even running him out of the slot (which is just nasty).

I don't know if if go that far. Nate Davis never did a thing during the regular season. Goodwin at least has been around a bit. He probably cpuld have done a lot more in Buffalo but he was also trying to make the Olympics which took up a lot of his time. Plus it's looking like he hated playing in cold weather all the time. Finally got him concentrating a full off-season on just football and excited about being out of the snowy hell known as Buffalo. Their is legitimate reasons to be optimistic more than their was with Davis.

One thing separates Goodwin from all the annual TC love stories and it's pure speed...he's literally the faster player in the NFL which end of the day does mean something.

Kyle's scheme is on a different level vs whatever the hell Roman was trying to do in the passing game.

It sure is easier to be a heel in the zone now isn't cc?

a year ago. people were saying the exact same thing about the cfl guy rogers who is not working the graveyard shift at taco tico. call me names if you want. i am sorry but i do not get caught up in what some scrub does in the first week of camp. like those who are breathlessly proclaiming this feels like 2011

Nothing wrong with being skeptical, learning from the past, and reminding fans to be cautious in these times... but it's all about how that it relayed. Anyone can spit venom. That takes zero effort and quite literally, adds nothing to the discussion.
