I'll take anything we can get. Better than getting nothing in return and releasing him. With a class this stacked at WR, we could add a guy like Tyler Johnson, Van Jefferson, or even Darnell Mooney in the mid to late rounds as another speedster in the rotation.

Teams value speed and he's one of the fastest in the league...and on a cheap deal (SF would eat some of that this yr).

Would Goodwin and our early 5th work for someone's 3rd? I mean I don't think it's impossible.

I think it would be MG and a 5th for a 4th round pick.

that makes one of you who thinks that is a nice idea.

Sanders is going to go to the highest bidder - Goodwin is faster and younger than Sanders.

Would have to be our late 5th then.

Goodwin isn't even close to as productive as sanders. I'd much rather have sanders.

you guys can set here and make all the excuses you want but did you ever think.. at the end of the day.. he just is not that good and is just another player on our team that is over valued by some of the fan base.... he is fast.. so frickin what. once he started running his mouth about the olympics.. i knew his desire to play nfl football was limited.. again we had such low expectations with our wide outs. some thought oh pettis and goodwin are sooo good.. well once we got deebo. once we got sanders.. and we saw that goodwin and pettis were either unable or unwilling to step up,,,, unlike bourne... thats all i needed to know. hes fast . oh my god, he can take the top off a defense.... my god. we can probably draft someone on day three who is fast. there is a reason we are shopping him and its not because of his family issues

and unreliable whether its getting on the field and what he does if he gets on the field.,.. sounds like you are willing to go into camp with the same group of wide outs we had before sanders.. good lord

i wish i would wake up tomorrow and see that we got 3 6th round picks for goodwin. pettis and cj
I admit that I thought we really found something in the 2017 season when Goodwin had the best year of his career. If you look at his entire career, he isn't very good. He's average 1.9 catches per game and unless you're offense is the drop back and fling it style then he isn't really much of a factor. He isn't big enough or tough enough to be a possession guy and he doesn't have great hands. He would probably fit better with KC as a backup to Hill.
Chargers could make sense? Anthony Lynn knows him and they might need a #3 WR.

based upon what he could not do last year and someone like bourne beat him out.. i feel he is nothing more than a 4th string guy on a decent team

We're going to need him - with Sanders probably moving on in FA.
He had so many personal issues the dude probably just needed a break from football. Now he has the child he has been wanting and probably can focus more on he game.

But you said keep him and let sanders walk....which would indicate you would rather keep him over sanders.
It's a pretty easy decision when deciding between the 2
