yes
You keep him on the roster for a possible draft day trade maybe.

If somebody wants him, he gone. If he's still here after June 1st, he gone.

Can we just cut this guy already? No one is gonna trade for a #4 receiver

Why cut him then? What harm is he on the roster?

cap space and waste of a roster spot. roster spots are very limited on nfl teams we need to use his spot on a playmaker/contributor instead of a guy whose not even that interested in football anymore and has never been able to contribute to the team outside of the one season he got hella yards because he was our only receiver.

He deserves a chance to prove himself in the preseason. He might be on top of his injuries and form slump that may well have been due to his personal issues. If he cant cut it in the preseason and preseason games then adios

So has Taylor, but while Goodwin had a 1000+ yd. season for us in 2017, Taylor had 430. In 2018, Goodwin 400+, Taylor 215. In 2019, Goodwin 200+, Taylor nil. Taylor has 3 career TDs, so I don't think that's it.

Yet I don't read anybody clamoring for Taylor to be cut. Usually it's cut Goodwin, keep Taylor. Why?

You can designate June 1st cuts beforehand so that's probably not it.

i agree with you. im not gettting all the hype around taylor either, im thinking maybe its because hes been gone so long that people just literally forget what his play was like lol. ya hes quick in the slot an ya he made a few cool plays but its the same situation as goodwin, he looked good cause our roster was completely empty of talent. he was one of the few only receiving options. and hasnt been able to stay healthy since what 2017. hes another candidate for us not having anymore room for....but i think since we have not seen as much of him as goodwin hes a player worth keeping through camp to see if he can make the team. if he can play up to his potential he can be a weapon, goodwin however we have seen the full potential of and is not worth keeping with what we have now.

this
I am wondering if they will give Goodwin a chance to properly compete in training and preseason for a roster spot or they are just hanging onto him to trade him?

Anyone get the vibe that his heart is not all in on football anymore? or am i reading too much into it?

I think he was just depressed that his wife was constantly having miscarriages. They finally had a child and he seems to have his head on straight again.

We will see this preseason, if we get one.

why is this scrub still on the team? Sanders should've been a priority.

Sanders didn't want to re-sign with us.
