If he is desirable, but willing to re-negotiate his deal, why don't the Niners just give him a pay cut and keep him?
I don't get why a team would even give a 7th if they know for sure we're cutting him. I guess to make sure we don't send him to someone else, but it doesn't seem like there is some bidding war.

Deep WR class is holding a trade up. Once a couple of more WR's come off the board Goodwin will be traded.

I actually think we could use Goodwin.
Why not keep him and use him to increase his trade value?
His speed can help us, but at the same time I don't know what he and Pettis are doing wrong in Shanahan's complex offense. If Goodwin could get it together he is a game breaker with olympic speed.
