I wonder if the Niners have been working an adjustment behind the scenes to get all three stacked LBs on the field. Kyle is being really coy about who is starting, and it's making me think they've got something up their sleeves.

Or they planning to piss us all off and trot this scrub out there at the expense of Foster or Warner

It really is kind of odd. We ALL know it's Warner + Foster. I don't think Andy Reid is freaking out over the idea of potentially facing Malcolm. LOL.

But yeah, 'competitive advantage.'

Andy Reid is probably howling with laughter at the local KFC with the thought of facing Malcolm

Can't imagine Malcolm Smith being a player that warrants adding special personnel packages just to get him on the field. I think he'll play the occasional down or two when Foster visits the blue tent.

I don't think so, he's making starter money,

They need to keep the LBs fresh, so playing all 3 would be a good idea IMO, Warner looks like a stud, he won't lose reps, they will just change things up, different packages, maybe we see all 3 on the field at once.

I don't how many snaps.. But I'm dying to see all 3 on the field together w/the Chiefs running a ton of underneath and intermediate stuff. Not to mention, hella gadget plays included out of 1-2 WR sets.

I wonder if he will see some action at the SAM spot. Will he make it through 10 plays without getting hurt?
Oh hes going to bless us with his presence?

All jokes outside, having Smith, Warner, and Foster out there at once as I said before gives us a lot of speed and sound tackling. It should help us a lot of the short game. I'd also like to see some creative blitzes (God forbid we try that). Let the young Mahommes prove he can beat a variety of defensive looks. Can't just let him sit back there.

They paid him before they drafted Foster and Warner. That was a long time ago in NFL standards. Usually starter money matters but not if guys are ahead of him on the depth chart at this point. If it was all about the money Ward would have been starting over Witherspoon this season.

Just start all three. Foster - Warner - Smith is formidable.
