I dunno. With the loss of foster and the number of needs compared to our draft picks he's probably gonna stick around imo

Thanks. Just can't have guys that for whatever reason are just collecting a paycheck. It just sets a bad example. I looked in to it a bit and saw this:

2019 Dead Cap: $1,400,000
2020 Dead Cap: $2,800,000
2019 Cap Savings: $4,018,750

2019 Dead Cap: $1,400,000
2020 Dead Cap: $2,800,000
2019 Cap Savings: $4,018,750

We don't need 4 million in savings this year, when it gives us 2.8 million of DEAD MONEY in 2020. I would just cut him before June 1st, or trade (highly unlikely), and take the whole 4.2 million in DEAD MONEY for 2019, so we save a little money in 2019, but have no dead money after this season. We're not going to spend all our money this off season, so we might as well create as much as possible for future seasons needs.
I would cut/trade Garcon and Mitchell this off season as well. Get all that DEAD MONEY taken care of now, while saving a little this year, but tons going forward.

I'd get rid of both Garcon and Malcolm Smith. Save about 10M in cap space. Hopefully, we will be willing to spend more in FA this summer.

There is no excuse in not getting another starting LB in FA or the draft. So many options. Smith and Mitchell were horrific signings.

Waste of $$

Niners are better off eating that dead money and letting a young player get those snaps next season.
