I want Mitchell+Garcon+Smith to be off our roster before June 1st. This way we take the FULL CAP HIT this season, and open up more money going forward. We have tons of cap space right now, so cutting/trading those 3 will open a little more this season, but lots more going forward. It's smart to spread out cap hits when you have no cap space, and you're trying to stay competitive, but right now we have tons of cap space, so no point in stretching out the hits.

While taking the cap hit is unavoidable some mentioned that cutting Garcon and Smith alone frees up $10 million so that's a plus. I all for cutting Mitchell as well but don't know how much more it would add to that $10 million or so.

Go to overthecap.com, you can learn how to move stuff around, and also see how it effects your cap space each season. Good learning tool.

Completely forgot this guy played for us this season. He made as much of an impact on IR as he did on the field.
Dont know why our staff thought he'd be any good. He played well on a ridiculous Seattle defense and then played like s**t when he had average talent around him. What indicated he'd be any different playing with us?

I noticed him making some nice plays this year, but I do agree with you about the talent surrounding him back then too
