The Sunday performance was a really off day for him. We would've won pretty handily if he hits those field goals, but he's still one of the best in the league.
If they feel he's still going to be a top kicker next year, they should exercise their option and keep him. A good kicker is a one of the first things teams cut to save cap space, but I find many teams regret that decision when they trot out a novice kicker in a pivotal moment.

We have to keep him because next year when we're contending for another Super Bowl assuming our whole team is not injured this guy will make a difference in at least two games. As we all know two wins as opposed to two losses means all the difference

he had a off day and thats how i look at it. the last thing we need is to repack and put together a good football team only to struggle finding a good kicker if we dump robbie
