45 yards in that weather is in no way a chip shot!!! Gould is the man of the hour right now, actually the man of the week!!!!
This guy is iffy to me so I was on edge but kudos he nailed it.
Been clutch in the playoffs. Earned that pay.
Has made up for the regulation miss in Cincinnati and more. If he was gonna blow a winning FG attempt, glad it was a regular season game we still won in OT.

This game came down to three plays, and players… Ward > Willis > Gould

respect

Sure those three ST plays were crucial, but we have to give the defense lots of credits.

For sure, but mad respect for those three game defining plays.
My lord, this guy is clutch ..... i never thought he would of made that kick in that weather.
I'm still, I don't know what to say...what a fricken game
I was so nervous for that kick in the elements and we were so banged up… OT would've f**ked us. He was clutch and the way he walked off before the kick went in was epic.
Just an outstanding clutch kicker.
I said during the season that I didn't think Gould was an elite kicker anymore that was automatic on all the kicks. Still a great kicker... maybe not elite. And that's probably true, but I have utmost trust and faith in him in these clutch pressure situations in the playoffs.

It's going to be interesting when it comes to the future since he's an older kicker, but I'm very happy we have him in these playoffs.

I said the same thing at the beginning of the season, and I wanted the 49ers to get younger, but I gotta eat some crow here. Man o man was he clutch today. We needed his services big time. I'm having 2nd thoughts about replacing him now.
Playoff games that's when you find out what your kicker is made of we've seen countless kickers drill em all season and choke em wide in the playoffs not Robbie G 20/20 in playoffs wow. Can't imagine the pressure it's like the whole world stops all eyes on you both sidelines and millions of fans. Amazing.
