especially that last one. 48 Yarder IIRC.

CLUTCH.
Nails!!!! We need to keep him, even at 5 mil per year. He makes a 2 game difference every year imo

and that's NOT including the playoffs where he's perfect

If we aren't able to keep Robbie around after this year, I really want us to look at CFL kicker Lewis Ward. Dude is young and had an absolutely insane first two years in the CFL. He won rookie of the year as a kicker.

In fact, from 2018-2019, he made 94 consecutive field goals over a two-season span, including going 7/7 from 50+ in that span. He owns the record for most in a row among all Pro Football. Nicknamed the "can't miss Kid". Dude has a pretty crazy story too. Came over from England, played soccer there, and then was a security guard for Ottawa the year before making the team at an open tryout, lol.

I hope the transition from Robbie to the next guy isn't like Ray Wersching to Mike Cofer.
Kyle was very nice to get Gould a re kick. I thought the safer okay was just to run it in.

it was rather a game of probabilities. Kicking from 20-30 yards is the safest bet.

If they missed again, would they get another down or no?

Other's team ball unless the snap was fumbled and there was no kick attempt
Definitely time to start the process...does he even have the leg to hit a 57 yarder like raiders kicker?

Not a chance.

Yes, we need to find a new kicker

I think if your team's chances of winning are relying on a 57 yard fg, you've got other issues that should have priority first.

sidenote, we most likely could've ran 3 times and most likely would've punched it in for the TD win, but I'm glad Kyle was like gould your GOLD. Kudos to kyle to get his mind right for the playoffs.

Yeah. Should definitely start looking into a replacement.
That was a complete shank. I know Kyle was trying to build back confidence with him in OT, but I would of just ran it a few times to get the TD.

Yeah very unlikely he would miss it, but there is always the opportunity the Raiders block it and run back with it the other way. Not sure why we didn't do the safe route and try to run it in. Robbie is an old vet and I don't think one miss kick would shatter his confidence.

Of course if either Mason or CMC fumbled at the 1, would you still blame Kyle?

No I would blame Mason or CMC for fumbling it and not protecting the ball like their lives depend on it. They would know at that point to completely secure the ball.
