You should check out that Isaac Punts on youtube or former punter McAfee and get some knowledge and Wish appreciation. Dude is awesome.

You nailed it 49erFaithful!

This! I said last year a good kicker will win you 2 to 3 games a year and that's not including his perfect performance in the playoffs which we make pretty much every year. So we're going to need him even if it's at $5 million per year, it's worth a few extra wins which could be the difference between home-field advantage or at least home playoff games. Can't believe people are actually stressing this when they don't think it through

Yeah I agree. A good reliable kicker is worth it. It will cost you big in playoff seeding. Maybe tank your season. You just have to pay him. If it's kind of reasonable.

so what's a number for robbie? No one has said a number. 2? 3? 4?
I think the biggest issue in resigning him would be if he wants to be back here. I remember when we had to sign him he was contemplating if he wanted to be here or back home with his family or something like that. This is all about location because I feel like he loves this team and the organization.

It would probably take about 4 million and it's probably worth that too. A good kicker who can win close games is essential. Not a maybe IMO.

Yes and we had a few bad ones over the years if you go further back in time. Not so much recently. But you can't get to and win playoff football with a bad kicker.

I would say four to $5 million. Well worth the money

Yeah if we can fit it under the cap sure. We got other stuff to sign too. But don't neglect the kicker.

The kicker is the QB of special teams.

This guy is a boss kicker.

He sure won a lot of games for us.
We're gonna regret this
f**k now we really gonna have to depend on a rookie or some journeyman every time we go for 3.

We can't regret anything if a person refuses to sign with us. We could still franchise tag him though.

Honestly can't blame him. He wants a ring and our team can't stay healthy enough to win it.
