Joe Staley said that Gould gave a speech to the team the night before the game and can't recall ever seeing a kicker giving one before.

I just couldn't stand Akers our sb run in 12' but he was automatic the year before. Crazy how teams think those kickers were done then they get reborn with us and have great years since we can't STILL score when we get in the rz

Wersching was a fav and the rest were very good.

Gould was an excellent pick-up.
