AP is a beast. Not sure how long he can keep this up up, but what a boost he gave the cardinals! This team was almost dead.

Cardinals is a very favorite team. I really like them. But I am worried about the cards.

I don't get the hype this team gets. Virtually anytime they play a quality opponent -- particularly in big games -- they get obliterated.
Does anybody care they're playing Carson Palmer? That dude is a total head case in big games.
They'll make a good living beating up on poor to average teams. Maybe they get a quality win or two. But it's hard to see this team doing anything of significance.
As a Niner fan -- I'd love for them to get stuck drafting in the low 20's with such a huge need at QB in 2018.
Welp. Eight wins looking optimistic now. :p
Such a bad roster. One of the worst in the NFL.

Pete Prisco thinks Gabbert at QB instead of Stanton will help out the Cardinals. Don't ever go full retard Pete.

I mean Stanton is pretty awful. He gets up for the 49ers and no one else. If Bruce Arians wasn't his dad, he might not be on an NFL roster altogether.

Lol Arians defended Gabbert saying "he was on some really sh*tty teams"
...so I guess the result in AZ should be the same... ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Cards fans out here be like: "Yo they gotta play Gabbert so we can see if he is the quarterback of the future"

As he often does, Gabbert looked really good in the Card's pre-season games. It will be interesting to see how he plays so I might have to check that game out. On the surface it seems like Blaine has many of the qualities that you like to see in a QB but for some reason, mostly his accuracy I think, it hasn't really come together for him on game days. If he had completed about 12 more passes during his starts last year Kaepernick might not have ever seen the field but he kept missing that seam route down the middle and on what should have been some very easy mid-range throws. It seems like he understands what he should be doing, just keeps falling down on the execution.

It's his footwork. It's inconsistent and all over the place.
