He's absolutely the most overrated corner of this past decade.

When he was drafted he was extremely gifted athletically so he never had to learn great technique like other good corners had to. He had that really good sophomore season statistically and people just assumed he was that good for the rest of his career.

His lack of technical ability was evident in his play for years and given that we played them so often you should know that. How many times did Crabtree an average receiver just torch Peterson?

I could name you 6-8 corners better than Peterson this decade and yet none of them are getting the HOF consideration he's about to get.

Check the tape and check the stats.. he's been very average for a long time.

i just wonder how much he's got left. i can see him being good this year, trying to prove himself. but depending on the contract he just got, it might work out in our favor.
2 year contract. damn, that's a good move by the Cards.
He'll be hurt after game 3.

he'll give him eight games... but two of them will most certainly be against the 49ers....

Who cares.

We need to stop hyping the Cardinals. Their coach is still KK.

He started all 16 games last year, 8 in 2019 and 6 the year before. They use him in pass rush situations now so he's not an every down player. Who is anymore. Everything is situational now based on score, time, down and distance. He got 5 sacks last year with a bad team. In Arizona with some pretty decent D linemen, he could double that. He might get 5 against JG alone.

It's in our favor for sure, they following the rams blueprint of getting themselves in salary cap hell
Let me guess, people will blame John Lynch for the Cardinals signing JJ Watt lmao.
I know he isn't DPOY JJ Watt but the thought of him and Chandler Jones being healthy has to keep you up at night a little, especially if your last name is McGlinchey.

On a positive note, perhaps this signing puts even more of an emphasis on the front office to lock up Trent Williams.

They don't need JJ Watt for that. They already want Trent back but they are waiting for the official salary cap number.
