If you're anything like your husband, you like to swing, huh, Bae?
I wish this murderer nothing but a grave marinated in p*ss & sh*t.

I've had to go to Seattle, Chicago and Austin for work... all of them it was pretty confronting the amount of obvious drug addicts and bums there were in parts of the cities. Took a wrong turn in Chicago and I was like "If I go another 20 yards I'm going to get stabbed". That's not normal for me. As much as the private prison system is awful and not doing its job, something else is filling them up.
The really sad part is that my job also took me to St Petersburg in Russia and Minsk. Minsk is in Belorussia and it's like the last truly Communist dictatorship. People sometimes put it in the same league as North Korea. Neither city was I scared in the slightest save a bit of crazy totalitarian paranoia at immigration going in and out. Lots of poor people there and much less overall wealth... but most of the poor people at least looked like they had a job and somewhere to live.
Now this was two big cities and I'm sure things are pretty awful in a lot of the regional areas (and who knows, maybe the crazy a*****es in power just round all the bums up and have them shot) but the difference was very noticeable. And no... I'm not saying Russia is better than the US... it's not, it's not in a LOT of ways... but there are definitely a lot of areas I think the States is letting its people down big time.

And no evidence in original trial can be used in civil trial for wrongful death
Very interesting and does provide some insight into why Hernandez might want to kill himself at this time. I was skeptical when I heard the news thinking that it made no sense for suicide given the recent acquittal.
Serious? I would think since he can't appeal, it would just go back to the last official decision "Guilty."

I bought an abandoned house in Riverside Ca to fix up and sell in an area that had a few drug dealers (meth and pot) sprinkled around. The owner of the house was well known, lived in the neighborhood for decades but died owing more than the home was worth so it went to bank auction. It sat for two years abandoned. You would not believe how the house was stripped bare, people took toilet paper roll holders out that probably weren't worth $5 new. Neighbors had been in the house many times visiting the owner and told me nothing inside was high end or valuable. They said they had seen ragged looking people drive up in beater cars and drive off with doors tied to the roof. I actually started to make a clean up pile and put two old car batteries next to it in the recessed driveway. At the time recyclers would give you $2 for each. Someone even trespassed with a truck in the driveway and took those.

Drug addicts tend to not be bad other than they are loud, smelly and annoying. They might break into you your car for 5 nickels.
It's the "gang banger" types that are the ones that are likely to jump you, rob you, shoot you etc.
